As a Logistics Associate II with PCB Piezotronics, Inc, you will:
Follow all PCB procedures and forms in compliance to ISO 9001.
Following established Procedures, performs tasks related to the receiving and shipping of product. Cross-Trained in multiple functions of the Logistics Department.
Additional Duties:
Sets example of team player, for less experienced employees, by cooperating and showing commitment to Quality and Customer Service.
Responsible for knowing and using proper ESD procedures as outlined in the ESD manual.Fully understands their role in implementing the ISO 9001 standard and complies with all aspects of the standard. Understands and promotes our Quality statement of “Total Customer Satisfaction”.Prepares manuals for all standard and special productResponsible for the quality and accuracy of outgoing shipments to ensure customer satisfaction. Follows established methods and procedures for Pick/Pack/Shipping. Compliance to shipping standards including accurate and thorough customs paperwork, special customer document(s). Contacts freight carriers as needed to arrange pickups.Be able to perform accurately Special Customer Required shipping functions, packaging or reporting into customer databases to generate specific required paperwork for shipmentsResponsible for the quality and accuracy of incoming shipments to ensure customer/vendor satisfaction. Follows established methods and procedures for receiving.Responsible for the efficient flow of finished product into the group, including accurate inventory transactions. Receive Transfer Orders from different facilities into the appropriate locations either in Logistics or elsewhere. Follows established methods and procedures for inventory.Performs photocopying, emailing, faxing, data entry, filing, answering phone, paging, etc.Notifies supervision of any shortage of supplies. May be required to requisition supplies for logistics area.Responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and professional work environment.Performs other related duties as directed for the efficient operation of department and company.Qualifications:
Education/Training: High School Graduate or equivalent. Exposure to Lean Manufacturing Concepts.
Special Processes: List of Equipment (Special QC), AES/ACE Certified, ASN and V-Pac knowledge.
Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years or equivalent.
