Logistics Claims Analyst

Join us and we can make a difference together. **About the role** As a **Logistics Claims Analyst** you will review information about Finished Goods and Replacement Component claims, related to damage and overs, shorts, and wrong parts shipped to customers. You will review these claims and work with the distribution centers and manufacturing plants to identify root cause for the claims and assist in developing corrective actions to prevent future claims. Root cause evaluations will include but are not limited to researching areas such as standard operating procedures, packaging, work environment, or process flow. **Job Responsibilities** The primary tasks of this role are as follows: + Support distribution center (DC) teams to implement and oversee to completion initiatives that will reduce or eliminate the various causes of the claims. + Lead & participate in projects with the plant engineering, packaging engineers, and quality teams to improve the packaging of units to reduce the risk of units arriving to customers with damage. + Partner with Customer Service to provide information proactively relative to damage claim trends; serve as point of escalation with Customer Service to evaluate specific claims approval. + Monitor and report out to DC & Logistics leadership key performance indicators (KPI) related to claims. + Develop and implement continuous improvements to reduce the number and financial impact of claims. + Develop a claims dashboard to assist with the reporting of claims by (DC). + Additional assignments to be determined by Manager Continuous Improvement. + Travel up to 25% or as needed. **Basic Qualifications** + High School or GED. + 3+ years experience in a finished goods operation (factory or warehouse environment) + 3+ years utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles, or other continuous improvement system. + 1+ years experience with a company’s ERP/SAP or CRM system. + 3+ years experience with Excel building data analysis tools such as pivot tables, at a proficient level (intermediate to advanced). + Ability to travel up to 25% domestically. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or another technical or administration curriculum with 4 years in a consumer goods operation, lean manufacturing. + Highly collaborative approach to problem solving and influencing change. + Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills + Self-driven and proactive. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. + Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. + Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects. **Additional Information** + Sponsorship is not supported for this position.
