**Job Title: Logistics Clerk**
**Job Description**
The Logistics Clerk ensures the timely shipping of products to customers, including picking, packing, and verifying customer orders. This position also performs other shipping-related duties, such as consolidating packages and preparing manifests. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing tasks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Create current and future shipping manifests.
+ Pick, pack, verify, and process customer orders using various software suites.
+ Consolidate packages destined for specific customers.
+ Prepare and process small package shipments for personnel outside of the Logistics Group.
+ Manage department inventory and perform cycle counting.
+ Notify Customer Care and Key Accounts personnel of incomplete/inaccurate customer addresses.
+ Make Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings.
+ Deliver packages to local customers and to the Eastern Iowa Airport when necessary.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Previous shipping experience preferred.
+ Proficiency in various PC software programs with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
+ Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Ability to learn and use a variety of software programs required for successful job performance.

+ Adaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
+ Ability to maintain a high standard of courtesy and cooperation in dealing with co-workers.

**Work Environment**
This position is 100% on-site with a shift from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, including a 30-minute lunch break. The work environment requires exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 10 lbs. of force frequently. The role involves working with various software programs and requires attention to detail. Dress code and attire will be discussed during the hiring process.

This is a Contract position based out of Morrisville, North Carolina.

The pay range for this position is $18.44 - $18.44
