Description Robert Half is offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Logistics Clerk in Georgetown, Kentucky. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks related to dispatching, data entry, and customer service within the logistics industry. Responsibilities: • Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required • Execute dispatching tasks in an organized and timely manner • Perform data entry tasks related to logistics and distribution • Provide call center customer service in relation to freight carriers • Handle shipping and receiving tasks as part of the logistics procedures. Requirements • Proficiency in dispatching operations, with an ability to coordinate effectively for timely deliveries • Demonstrated experience in data entry, with a focus on accuracy and speed • In-depth knowledge of the logistics industry and its operational norms • Previous experience in a call center customer service role, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with freight carriers and their scheduling and handling procedures • Understanding of logistics and distribution processes, including planning, scheduling, and tracking of shipments • Experience in managing shipping and receiving activities, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and company guidelines.
