Job Summary:

Facilitate inbound and outbound shipments to promote an efficient supply chain.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to perform all duties of Logistics Coordinator ICoordinate and monitor supply chain operationsBuild, Schedule and create loads going to various locations utilizing logistics IT software and applicationsCommunicate Critical load and delivery information to customers and warehouse personnelPrepare and maintain required documentation for all incoming and outgoing loads including but not limited to: Bills of Lading, packing list, driver logsManage Prebuilt and Cancelled stock units for subbing and shipping plus inventories.Manage all Customer service items.  Batteries/Swivels/handles/arm caps/Mattresses etc.Manage all units that are not shipped on-time and any Shipping discrepancies.Work with plants on all UPS/FED-ex shipments for support.

SCOPE & IMPACT: 

This position will play a vital role in the residential supply chain, responsible for scheduling the delivery of materials from numerous suppliers, allocating those materials to multiple production facilities and then scheduling the shipping for those materials.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:     

High school diploma or GED with 2-4 years or relevant experience or equivalent.1-2 years’ experience with transportation management operationsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applicationsStrong ability to communicate effectively with outside parties, plant staff and customersStrong ability to anticipate consequences and appropriately interpret multi-dimensional decision tree proceduresAdaptability to changing business conditions

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: 

Proficient in JD Edwards Enterprise OneExperience with scheduling transportation pick-up and deliveriesStrong organizational skillsAbility to multi-task while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailSelf-motivated
