The Opportunity 

Our Diagnostics business currently has an opportunity for the role of Logistics Coordinator for our North Chicago, IL location. The primary function of this position will be responsible for managing and coordinating ocean freight shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. This role involves close collaboration with international affiliates, carriers, and internal teams to optimize logistics processes.

 

What You’ll Work On

Coordinate and manage ocean freight shipments from origin to destination.Utilize SAP to input/revise order details for both manual and EDI transactionsCommunicate with affiliates, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment processes.Monitor shipment status and provide regular updatesResolve any issues or delays that may arise during the shipping process.Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.Maintain accurate records of shipments and related documentation.Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma and 2 years’ experience in Logistics or Supply Chain.

The base pay for this position is $24.75 – $49.55 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
