The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient movement of goods across various territories, coordinating all transportation activities for the company, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. Additionally, the Transportation Coordinator will handle logistics scheduling, manage inventory shipments, and collaborate with third-party carriers to meet the company's shipping needs.

Schedule Details:

Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, Onsite Tuesday - Thursday and flexible work from home Monday and Friday once onboarding is completed.


Key Responsibilities Include

Ensure the safety and efficiency of Over the road drivers by adhering to safety-first principles and best practices in transportation safety. Daily communication with OTR drivers as needed Work closely with the Operations team to ensure they have the necessary products and resources to meet their operational requirements. Develop and schedule routes for the Over the Road Fleet drivers, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal driver efficiency. ISO Tanker Movements and Coordination: Coordinate all ISO tank movements across the company to ensure compliance and proper delivery. Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound inventory shipments for each territory, ensuring accuracy in delivery and inventory management. Create transportation orders and Bill of Lading for shipments, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete Work with third-party carriers to coordinate logistics and secure transportation solutions that meet the company's shipping needs. Schedule and oversee logistics functions for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring that all processes are completed efficiently and on time. Handle special assignments and additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in transportation, scheduling, or dispatching. Prior experience as a Transportation or Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role. Strong time-management skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge and understanding of DOT regulations. Proactive, self-starter attitude with strong problem-solving skills. Thorough knowledge of the transportation industry. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the refrigerant gas industry. Experience with shipping hazardous materials. Familiarity with telematics systems such as Samsara or other tracking platforms.

Pay will be commensurate with experience. The hourly rate will be based on experience. This position is also eligible for the company Employee Incentive Program (EIP).
