Gardner Cryogenics (a business of Air Products and Chemicals) has an immediate opening for a Logistics Coordinator in the Supply Chain team to support the Gardner Cryogenics Business at our office in the Bethlehem. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain management, ensuring the scheduling and flow of critical materials and final products from suppliers to our facilities. Activities include ensuring critical production schedule adherence through the proactive engagement of strategic Suppliers in order achieve quality and schedule compliance. The incumbent will work cross functionally with the Gardner Supply Chain and Operations team.

Required Skills / Abilities:
•    Familiarity with manufacturing and logistics processes
•    Strong project management and planning skills
•    Excellent commercial awareness and negotiating skills, both commercial and legal
•    Ability to communicate efficiently and work with internal and external customers
•    Strong influencing, communication, and facilitative skills with key Suppliers
•    Sense of ownership and urgency
•    Self-disciplined and self-motivated with a confirmed ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
•    Demonstrate prioritization, planning, and follow-up skills in a multi-tasking environment
•    Strong organizational and time leadership skills

Key Job Responsibilities:
•    Familiarity with SAP is strongly preferred
•    Embody the 4S culture of Safety, Speed, Simplicity and Self-Confidence, as well as Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging
•    Perform all operations vital to schedule, receive, and ship all incoming and outgoing materials and products
•    Prepare all vital records related to Supplier shipments.  
•    Manage orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
•    Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements
•    Communicate with suppliers to achieve on-time delivery and schedule adherence
•    Maintain logs and records of delivery schedule and executed orders
•    Coordinate with logistics staff (e.g. truck driver's) according to availabilities and requirements
•    Prepare accurate reports for scheduling purposes
•    Arrange same-day deliveries whenever possible.
•    Prepare and issue purchase orders according to the manufacturing schedule – ERP driven, and requisition driven on long lead items
•    Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills; maintain free and open communication.

Minimum Hiring Requirements:
•    Strong organizational and time leadership skills
•    Experience in discrete manufacturing, logistics, and vessel fabrication a plus
•    Education in technical or business field
•    Consistent track record in leading successful transformational metrics-based projects
•    Bachelor’s Degree or higher, in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management or equivalent job experience
•    3+ years’ experience in Procurement, Scheduling, Logistics, Technical, Engineering, Commercial or Project environment
•    Knowledge of commercial logistical and purchasing procedures and practice, including industry best practices
•    Familiarity with SAP is strongly preferred

Work Hours:
•    Onsite in office, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
