Who You Are
Under minimal supervision, coordinates and expedites the flow of material, parts, and assemblies. Establishes and communicates completion dates for deliverables. Verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and rates. Maintains related records. Stamps identify information and shipping instructions on containers. Contacts vendors by mail, phone, or visit, to requisition materials and verify or ensure shipment of goods on promised dates. Arranges for distribution of materials upon arrival. Inspects products for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications. Works to meet schedules and support requirements to meet customer satisfaction. Resolves most questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher level of support. May assist in orientating and training lower level employees. Performs all other duties as assigned.
This role will be located in Los Angeles, CA. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate Material Flow: Expedite the flow of material, parts, and assemblies under minimal supervision, ensuring efficient progression and processing.
Establish Deadlines: Set and communicate clear deadlines for the delivery of all logistics-related deliverables.
Verify Shipments: Check the accuracy of both incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring they adhere to specified rates and standards.
Maintain Records: Keep meticulous records related to shipping and receiving, including stamping containers with identification and shipping details.
Vendor Communication: Regularly contact vendors via mail, phone, or direct visits to requisition materials and confirm the shipment of goods on promised dates.
Arrange Distribution: Oversee and coordinate the distribution of materials upon their arrival to ensure a smooth logistics process.
Inspect Products: Conduct quality and quantity inspections on products to ensure they meet the specified requirements and specifications.
Support Customer Satisfaction: Work actively towards meeting schedules and supporting requirements to boost customer satisfaction.
Resolve Problems: Handle common logistical problems and questions, referring more complex issues to a higher level of support when necessary.
Train Team Members: Assist in the orientation and training of lower-level employees to foster a knowledgeable and efficient team.
Perform Miscellaneous Duties: Carry out additional duties as assigned to support the logistics operations effectively.

Basic Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Logistics experience managing similar USG projects of size, scope and complexity, preferably with NRO experience to adequately understand mission needs across the project.
High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.
Proven experience in leading and managing a team of information and telecommunication management professionals.
Ability to maximize technical, performance, and operational efficiencies and minimize lifecycle costs.
Ability to maximize services and capabilities, provisioned as a service.
Ability to work in fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
5-10+ years of Logistics experience managing similar USG projects of size, scope and complexity, preferably with NRO experience to adequately understand mission needs across the project.
Clearance: Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.

40 hours a week
Basic Compensation:
$47,725 USD to $71,645 USD annual salary
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
