Job Description/Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for improving logistics services domestically and globally across the company, achieving on time deliveries, eliminating out of stocks and minimizing freight and storage costs .  This position works with all domestic and global customers, facilities and partners.  Ensuring raw materials and finished products are transported safely and efficiently, balancing the costs and service levels and maintaining compliance with all government regulations. 

 

Hours: 8-5 with occassional over time 

No weekend schedule 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence:
Build a culture of customer service excellence within Sazerac Operations. Deliver world-class service to both internal and external customers globally and domestically, ensuring all customer service KPIs are met or exceeded.Policy & Procedure Development:
Support the development of policies and procedures across all Sazerac facilities, both domestic and global. Once approved, you’ll track and ensure compliance with these policies and procedures, including daily, weekly, and monthly administration for NCL (Northern Continental Logistics), management of SCAC's for S21, and Cargo.Net communications.Cost & Efficiency Optimization:
Implement and support programs that generate both actual dollar savings and administrative savings. This includes executing global and domestic transportation bids, converting customers from collect to prepaid freight, fleet expansion, and optimizing current processes to remove excess waste.KPI Development & Management:
Drive the development and adoption of KPIs across the company to measure and manage business performance. Responsibilities include GUI freight table maintenance, communication of freight table maintenance to EAPS, and maintaining Carrier Scorecards and data integrity.Cultural Development:
Contribute to the development of Sazerac’s culture, with a focus on the 5 Cs: Consumers, Customers, Capability, Continuous Improvement, and Competitive Advantage. Help build a talented, capable, and engaged organization that delights worldwide consumers and customers with the highest quality spirits brands.
