Logistics Coordinator

In this key position, you will plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of transportation, boxing, and shipping for valves and related materials. Your efforts will guarantee timely and efficient outbound shipments while collaborating with logistics providers and enhancing inventory and warehouse processes. Onsite presence is required to collaborate effectively and contribute to our dynamic team environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Outbound Shipment Coordination: Plan and manage daily domestic and international shipments to ensure timely delivery. Transportation Scheduling: Schedule transport to meet customer needs and production deadlines while working with logistics providers. Inventory Management: Oversee packing inventory and conduct quality checks to ensure safe transit and prevent delays. Communication Hub: Serve as the primary contact for shipping inquiries, providing regular status updates to customers and logistics partners. Cost Management: Monitor logistics costs, optimize shipping routes, and identify cost-saving opportunities while assisting in logistics budgeting. Process Improvement: Analyze logistics workflows to enhance efficiency, implement lean practices, and explore technology solutions. ERP System Updates: Maintain accurate shipping records in Odoo, update ETAs, and ensure compliance with regulations. Performance Metrics Monitoring: Track key metrics such as delivery rates, shipping accuracy, and customer satisfaction related to logistics.

You partner with others to achieve results by actively listening, ensuring understanding, and anticipating customer needs to deliver services that exceed expectations. When faced with challenges, you take constructive action to resolve issues effectively while analyzing diverse sources of information to accurately define problems before pursuing solutions.

Additionally, you employ planning tools and software to create schedules and outline the necessary steps for achieving your objectives. This strategic approach allows you to effectively tackle difficulties.

 

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or equivalent experience. Experience in logistics, shipping, or transportation, in industrial environment, ideally in manufacturing or assembly. Deep knowledge of Incoterms and their practical applications, especially in customs clearance. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and commonly used ERP systems. Fluency in French is essential, with a good level of English.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Certifications in logistics or International Trade Compliance (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CLTD) are a plus. Proficiency in logistics management software (ERP, TMS, WMS). Ability to thrive in a matrix organization and collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams.
