AOR Logistics is seeking an efficient, passionate Logistics Coordinator to join our team and maximize our impact as an organization. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for developing an effective logistics program, overseeing logistics activities and details, and measuring overall success of a program to acquire, store, and transport new, used and salvage automotive vehicles to a government client. Duties will consist of managing various logistics administrative tasks, tracking the budget, and ensuring that the program meets company goals. We actively strive to channel our highly engaged employee’s knowledge, critical thinking, innovative solutions for our clients. **Responsibilities** + Plan and execute program basic logistics activities in support of a multi-year Government contract that requires the management, oversight, delivery, and disposition of used, discarded, and/or salvage-level vehicles to support a Government public safety officer training program. + Manage a secure storage facility housing an inventory of vehicles designated for use in the program. + Participate in automobile auctions to negotiate and acquire vehicles designated for use in the program. + Manage the inventories of vehicles stored in the AOR Logistics facility, ensuring they are ready for final mile delivery to the program site, and as they return from program training and are staged for final disposition. + Supervise and support subordinate coworkers on the program, including the Flatbed Truck Driver and their delivery of vehicles to the government program site, during the backhaul pickup of vehicle and/or vehicle components to the AOR Logistics facility, and during the movement of designated vehicles and/or vehicle components to disposition sites following the completion of program training. + Act as the local area lead for AOR Logistics and as the primary initial point of communication and support to the local area Government client. + Foster a positive, collaborative work environment. + Support the AOR Logistics Program Manager’s generation of program related contract deliverables, such as monthly and/or quarterly program reports. + Oversee daily administrative, operational, and logistical activities, including managing contract related information, financial data, vehicle information, and other important program data. + Help provide leadership and support to other subordinate AOR Logistics employees working on the contract as assigned. + Maintain consistent communication with external vendors and organizers. + Maintain a clean and safe working environment. + Possess a clean driving record. **Qualifications** + 1-3 years of industry experience is preferred. + Be an effective and positive communicator. + Vehicle sales, vehicle maintenance, and/or strong knowledge of and experience working in the vehicle industry. + Facility management knowledge, skills, and experience is highly desired. + Highly desirable personal/professional skills include positive and inspiring supervisory skills; great with managing and tracking information and data; creative and effective negotiation skills; safe driving skills; safety awareness skills. + Possessing a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred but not required. + Have an interest in receiving training for a CDL, to help equip our team with an additional certified Driver resource in the event our primary Driver is unavailable and/or needs to leverage the skills of a qualified backup driver. **Minimum Qualifications** : + Must be 21+ High School diploma or equivalent. + Must possess a high degree of integrity and trust along with the ability to work independently. + 1-3 years of job experience. **C** **ollateral Duties:** + Provide support to Flatbed Truck Driver. Demonstrate an eagerness and willingness to earn a CDL.
