Logistics Coordinator

Our client in Windsor Mill a growing dispatching company is seeking a Logistics Coordinator with SAP expertise to join their team on a temporary to hire basis and help them deliver unmatched service to their clients. Position Summary: As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in managing the dispatching and logistics processes while leveraging SAP technology to ensure data accuracy and operational excellence. This role will require effective communication and problem-solving skills, as you’ll be responsible for coordinating shipments, resolving issues, and maintaining efficient workflows. Key Responsibilities: + Utilize SAP software to manage and monitor dispatching, shipping, and inventory processes. + Coordinate the movement of goods and deliveries while adhering to schedules and client requirements. + Communicate with drivers, vendors, and customers to troubleshoot and resolve delivery-related issues. + Generate and analyze reports using SAP to track performance, address inefficiencies, and identify cost-saving opportunities. + Maintain accurate records of shipment statuses, inventory, and related documentation. + Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery accuracy. + Monitor and update schedules to adapt to changing priorities, weather conditions, and other unforeseen factors. Requirements Qualifications: + Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or a similar role. + SAP Expertise: Proficiency in SAP is required, particularly in modules related to logistics, inventory management, and reporting. + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a high level of attention to detail. + Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for working with a variety of stakeholders. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with other logistics software is a plus. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes. + Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.
