Description We are offering a contract to permanent Logistics Coordinator position for a transportation company based in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this Logistics Coordinator role, you will be managing the logistics processes within the business systems, ensuring efficient scheduling, dispatching, and handling of inventory. You will also liaise with multiple departments, including accounting, to ensure smooth operation and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities: • Utilize CRM tools to manage and process customer applications with precision • Ensure the timely delivery of goods by planning and scheduling transportation routes • Collaborate effectively with the accounting team to process billing paperwork and maintain comprehensive financial records • Keep track of inventory levels and stored goods, ensuring records are constantly accurate and up-to-date • Dispatch drivers or carriers as required to facilitate prompt deliveries • Support compliance and regulation efforts within the organization • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer inquiries promptly • Handle customs-related tasks and procedures as necessary.
