CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for a Logistics Coordinator. Type: Contract Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Location: Charlotte, NC Candidates must be able to commute to Charlotte, NC. Onsite position but can potentially be hybrid. (Minimum 3 days in the office.) Pay Rate: Based on experience Work Hours: M-F, 8am-5pm Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred) A successful candidate in this position will possess strong soft skills as well as: Exceptional attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Purpose Statement This position supports the Freight Audit & Payment program managed by the Global Logistics Organization. The role involves collaborating with internal and external business partners to process exception invoices, match freight spend with shipment records, and maintain basic freight spend reporting. Roles and Responsibilities Resolve exception invoices, identify the root cause of exceptions, and develop corrective actions with the appropriate business partner(s) Maintain freight payment data for Global Logistics spend visibility platform(s), transportation management system, spend anomalies application, freight audit and payment solutions, and/or other digital tools Engage with stakeholders to understand their freight invoice processes and implement and maintain procedures in the centralized audit tool Support the monthly freight spend accrual process Maintain the global logistics spend reports Manage validation table updates to align with all Global Logistics Organization (GLO) systems Support key initiatives of Global Logistics Organization (GLO), Global Supply Management (GSM), and business supply chain initiatives Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Logistics Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management (an MBA is an advantage) Required Skills Proven record of at least 3 years of experience in the logistics industry, invoice audit, and/or accounting Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is required.
