Job Posting: Experienced Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of export and transportation regulations, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
+ Possess a better-than-average understanding of Export Regulations and other government agency requirements governing exports.
+ Maintain a strong working knowledge of TSA regulations.
+ Ensure all documentation is accurately processed, distributed, and released to carriers, customers, and agents promptly.
+ Obtain and create competitive shipment quotes while sourcing the best transportation methods.
+ Communicate effectively with overseas agents to ensure proper pre-alerts and documentation are managed.
+ Explore opportunities to reduce costs and increase revenue.
+ Track and trace shipments, providing timely updates to clients and sales teams.
+ Build and uphold strong, professional relationships with airlines, transportation agencies, and internal sales departments.
+ Demonstrate a strong focus on customer satisfaction, adhering to company policies.
+ Maintain comprehensive shipment files and ensure billing is completed promptly and accurately.
+ Provide backup support for alternate accounts as needed.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by management.
+ Ensure all essential job functions are performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
Qualifications
+ Proven experience in air or ocean export coordination.
+ In-depth knowledge of export regulations, including government and TSA requirements.
+ Strong communication skills for coordination with international agents, customers, and carriers.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proficiency in shipment tracking systems and billing processes.
+ Demonstrated ability to explore cost-saving and revenue-enhancing opportunities.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
