We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support upcoming Turnarounds and Maintenance Outages at one of our client's refineries. This role requires someone savvy in the field, with hands-on refinery/chemical plant experience and strong coordination skills to help ensure our operations run smoothly — even when unexpected challenges arise.
Location: Port Arthur, TX
Schedule: 4/10 (outside of TARs)
Requirements:
5-10 years of experience in refinery or chemical plant operations, maintenance outages, or TAR coordination
Strong understanding of the unique restraints and challenges that come with TARs/maintenance shutdowns — and the ability to adapt quickly when plans shift
Mechanically inclined at a coordinator level — understands equipment moves, crane coordination, and who to engage when issues arise
Skilled in field coordination and communication with multiple teams across the refinery (operations, maintenance, vendors, etc.)
Resourceful problem solver who can think on their feet
Tech savvy — comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to create schedules, track progress, and run reports
Experience with SAP or ERP tools is a strong plus
Able to manage emails, set up Teams meetings, and run virtual meetings if needed
Education:
High school diploma required
College degree preferred, but not required
