The company is interviewing as soon as this week, so I will be in touch ASAP! **Summary:** The Logistics Coordinator will optimize and further improve logistics operations. This position will serve as our site’s logistics expert. Working as part of a small but fast-paced team, the Logistics Coordinator must be a dedicated, detail-oriented, and highly motivated team member who will play a key role in assisting with timely and accurate movement of goods, maintaining an efficient and cost-effective logistics operation, and analyzing and advising on procedures for our intercompany, domestic, and international shipments. Individual must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision to achieve the company’s objectives. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** 1. Coordinate and oversee the logistics operations of the company, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products and materials. 2. Develop strategies, goals, and monitor improvements, including cost expenditures and savings as related to domestic, international, and intercompany import/export shipments. 3. Review, recommend, and negotiate with 3PL Providers, Brokers, Forwarders, and Vendors. 4. Provide forecasting and sourcing capacity for all modes of transportation including LTL, FTL, LCL, and FCL. 5. Review and analyze transportation and customs regulations to maintain and update company ERP data including LTL/NMFC codes, Certificates of Origin, Free Trade Agreements, Shipper’s Letter of Instructions, tariff codes, incoterms, AES/EEI filings, and other relevant regulatory requirements. 6. Work with Technical Department and global sites to review and advise on Harmonized Tariff Code determinations. Responsible for submittals to agencies for official rulings (CROSS) and maintaining global company database. 7. Collaborate with internal teams, such as Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to ensure smooth coordination of logistics activities. 8. Audit transportation related documentation and procedures and collaborate with internal teams to implement solutions. 9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics management. 10. Perform other duties to assist Shipping and Compliance Department as requested.
