Logistics Coordinator- Data Center

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage the influx and exfil of hardware for our data centers in the Phoenix area, primarily in the West Valley. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, warehouse management, and/or supply chain management,. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers and maintaining the high standards of service our customers expect. Key Responsibilities: · Hardware Coordination: Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of hardware components for data centers. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of hardware to and from data center locations · Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, including tracking shipments, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with suppliers to replenish inventory as needed · Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the shipping and receiving processes, including preparing shipping documents, coordinating with transportation providers, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations · Communication: Liaise with internal teams, including data center operations, procurement, and IT, to coordinate hardware needs and resolve any logistical issues · Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes and improve efficiency. Implement best practices for hardware management and logistics operations · Compliance and Safety: Ensure all logistics activities comply with Microsoft’s safety and security standards.
