Logistics Customer Service Coordinator
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Logistics Customer Service Coordinator in the logistics industry, based out of Port Wentworth, Georgia. This role involves managing and maintaining client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and coordinating logistics operations. Responsibilities: • Serve as the secondary business contact for customers, fostering new and repeat business opportunities. • Manage client accounts, effectively communicating the capabilities and services of the company. • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues. • Communicate client's goals within the team to ensure quality and meet client expectations. • Work closely with the logistics team to handle orders regarding the shipping and receiving of products. • Supply shipping and receiving information to the warehouse in order to meet shipping deadlines. • Develop an intimate understanding of the distribution supply chain. • Assist other Customer Service Representatives to help alleviate workload. • Handle client communications, conflict resolution, and ensure compliance on client deliverables. • Review all major deliverables to ascertain quality standards and client expectations are met. • Use Excel for data entry, including basic manipulation of formulas and functions for reporting. • Adhere to all directives from the Supervisor. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the logistics industry. • Demonstrated skills in logistics and distribution are essential. • Proficiency in handling shipping operations is required. • Knowledge and experience in warehousing activities are necessary. • Ability to handle customer complaints effectively and professionally. • Proficient use of CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) systems is a must. • Experience in export customer service is necessary. • Familiarity with import customer service procedures is required. • Proven negotiation skills are essential. • Outstanding customer service skills are mandatory.
