OverviewLogistics / Dispatch Supervisor
Responsibilities Hires, trains, and supervises dispatch staff in Arizona and IllinoisManages scheduling of dispatch staff to ensure proper coverage throughout the dayMonitors and ensures that current processes and procedures are being followed within delivery departmentResponds to and find solutions to logistic issues that are identifiedCommunicates effectively to pharmacy and service delivery teams regarding logistical concernsEnsures high quality and accuracy of customer deliveries Routinely trains and mentors courier partners and drivers on the importance of customer when delivering to hospice patients Works to implement cost saving initiative within logistics department and with courier partners (i.e. consolidating run times, etc.)Assists courier partners with route scheduling to maximize efficiencies and timeliness of deliveriesConfers with customers and team members to resolve questions, problems and requests (i.e. calls from nurses, patients, NOHs, address changes)Facilitates and manages mail order deliveries Advises team members and coordinate accident protocol/proceduresQuality control of deliveries in each of our pharmacy markets Communicates and provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and pharmacy team members, providing feedback, comments, questions, concernsExceeds quality customer service standards by phone and in person Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Communications, or related fieldFour or more years’ experience in Transportation, Logistics, and DistributionExperience managing or supervising transportation and logistics functionsStrong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint About our Line of Business About OnePoint Patient CareOnePoint Patient Care is the nation’s leading independent provider of community-based hospice pharmacy and pharmacy benefits management (PBM) services – offering hospices nationwide flexible and adaptable solutions for their hospice pharmacy needs.
