Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Engineer with experience in industrial and logistics engineering to support the introduction of a new product. The primary focus will be on ensuring that our logistics systems are robust, and providing system configuration and recommendations. The role involves station layout support, process flow configuration, and ensuring efficient part flow and kitting areas.
ResponsibilitiesProvide system configuration and recommendations for new product introduction.Ensure logistics systems are robust and efficient.Evaluate and improve current product logistics.Identify and support kitting areas and station layouts.Configure process flows for new components using Proplanner-engineering, routing file, change management, and PFEP logistics components.Support assembly operations and flow.Manage part flow in a complex assembly line environment.Provide project management support with a focus on logistics.Coordinate with different departments including paint, weld, and fabrication.Essential SkillsExperience in logistics and configuration management.Ability to work effectively in a chaotic plant environment.Knowledge of Proplanner-engineering, routing file, change management, and PFEP logistics components.Strong project management skills.Understanding of assembly operations and part flow.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsExposure to project management from a logistics perspective.Ability to appreciate and coordinate with various sections of the production floor.Work Environment
The position is onsite in Goodfield, IL. The work environment involves working within an assembly shop and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure efficient logistics and flow management.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $37.00 - $43.00
