Job Title: Logistics Exception Analyst Job Description The Logistics Exception Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving exceptions in the logistics payment process to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role also involves creating weekly logistics reports to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency. This is a 9-12 month contract position with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, transitioning to Hoboken. Responsibilities + Resolve invoice exceptions and correct BTF related issues in CASS. + Perform drayage fuel reporting for BTF reimbursement. + Create and distribute weekly OTM spot and shipment management reports. + Process freight and accessorial invoices ensuring timely payment. + Communicate with carriers and vendors to address and resolve billing issues. + Manage cross-functional tasks between the team, procurement, and international logistics teams. + Handle third-party relationships with vendors. + Conduct different reporting for international teams, including matching files from freight forwarders to carriers and fuel costs. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered. + Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and combining multiple reports. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in the logistics or transportation industry. + Familiarity with freight billing and carrier contracts. + Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards. Work Environment This role offers a hybrid work environment with in-office presence required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, transitioning to Hoboken. The position demands proficiency in Excel for various tasks, including pivot tables and vlookups. The workplace is collaborative, involving cross-functional interactions with procurement and international logistics teams.
