Logistics Management Analyst Location: Gilbert, AZ Job ID: #70405 Pay Range: $32-41 Specific Job Description: Candidate will perform day-to-day supply chain management activities as well as office general operation management on the APACHE MTADS program at the ASC. Controls the efficient flow of goods services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes such as the replenishment system data interchange systems demand management electronic data systems administration and related functions. Builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Integrates learning from customers competitors operating entities distribution transportation customer service other industries industry groups and professional training to continuously improve competitive position. LM Job Description: Responsible for assuring inventory sufficiency with respect to mission requirements throughout the life cycle of supported systems. Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories, especially under the conditions of performance-based logistics (PBL) and total system performance responsibility (TSPR) contracts. Makes and executes decisions for operating inventory to include suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs and customer locations, including priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations. Responds to military service inquiries; supports requests for proposals and provisioning determinations; understands and uses various inventory optimization models; forecasts and manages budget requirements; interfaces with company and DoD information management systems; ensures fidelity of asset identification; resolves technical and support problems for assigned classes of items by actively interfacing engineering and suppliers; prepares status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance and mission readiness. Candidate will be responsible for the following: • Processing repair inductions and closures for TADS/M-TADS assets to be repaired at offsite Depots and/or Suppliers. • Processing hardware requests in support of inducted repairs at various off-site repair depots. • Managing Kit Deliveries in support of hardware selloff and to meet the Fielding schedule by coordinating with Production and Configuration Data Management teams. • Processing obsolete/unrepairable assets for excess/scrap disposition. • Producing reports, composing correspondence, and drafting new contracts. • Required Experience: • Logistics, Business Management or other Technical degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience. -2-4 years relevant work experience with a bachelors or 10-12 years relevant work experience with the degree • Relevant work experience: -2-4 years experience with Logistics, Supply, Parts Management, Supply Chain Management or DoD experience • Microsoft Office Expertise (related to the work experience above) • Valid drivers license Desired Skills: • Ability to multitask and establish priorities to meet contractual requirements/metrics. • Ability to work in a cross-functional IPT environment. • Ability to interact with internal customers, cross-functional teams, and management. • Supply Support / Stock Control background • Asset Management System / Supply Chain Management / Unified Tracking System knowledge • Familiarity with Army regulations and Army Supply • Prior internship or equivalent working experience with DoD Contractor or Government agency • Basic understanding government supply operations Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
