Responsibilities You will manage the cost, schedule, performance and integration aspects of the product support solution for weapon systems and equipment. You will lead the Program team in developing the System Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP). You will integrate and plan the individual and coordinated efforts of the Product Support IPT's Integrated Product Support Element (IPSE) Subject Matter Experts (SME). You will analyze and evaluate the supportability aspects, to include conducting Business Case Analyses (BCAs), of each proposed design alternative and implements the necessary actions to change the design to improve supportability. You will develop the support risk mitigation strategy and incorporate it into the overall program Risk Mitigation Plan. You will perform technical/cost evaluations of the product support aspects of contractor proposals and actively participates in contract negotiations. You will refine product support to reflect concurrent design changes, to include Product Improvement Programs (PIPs), modifications, and technology insertions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Develop OR analyzing lifecycle logistician efforts, managing product support solutions for weapon systems, developing sustainment plans, conducting analyses, integrating support elements, OR ensuring cost-effective logistics strategies.
