Closing Date extended to 30 DEC 2024 Responsibilities Plans, directs and coordinates the execution of all logistics functions associated with the Army’s. Manages all aspects of assigned weapon system(s) sustainment. Oversees the development and management of Agreements between the TACOM-ILSC. Ensures cohesive and comprehensive strategies are developed and executed by scheduling, leading, and directing actions of required Working Groups with program stakeholders, etc. Executes the supply functions associated with the ownership transfers of assigned weapon systems. Oversees auditing of Army assets. Coordinates as appropriate with program stakeholders and other organizations to ensure effective supportability analysis/logistics management information is in place and fully analyzed. Develops, attends, and briefs at reoccurring meetings to identify resolutions to programmatic issues and ensures established milestones are being met. Conducts/oversees multi-year requirement studies; collaborates with joint service representatives to assure quality and timely support. To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which includes: 1) planning and scheduling activities during the life cycle of the publication process in areas such as generating contractor requirements, cost estimation, program planning and establishment of program milestones, contractor performance evaluation or publication editing and quality control; 2) provides input into sustainment milestone planning activities; 3) providing supply and maintenance integrated support; and 4) developing and directing technical publication verification, validation, maintenance assessment, or logistics demonstration events. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications Maintenance Planning and Management Product Support Management Sustaining Engineering Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Career Field Position. This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Acquisition Level 3 (Advanced) Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty. Position is designated non-critical sensitive as defined in DoD 5200.2 This position has a Data Analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position. This requires that a personnel security investigation be adjudicated on a pre-appointment basis which may take up to 90 days or longer to process. The selectee may be allowed to start work prior to adjudication if management approved. Obtaining and maintaining a secret security clearance is a condition of employment. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly. Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (NTE) 1 year by a current permanent Army employee. Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Time-limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted. Position may NOT be made permanent.
