Summary About the Position: This position is with PEO IEW&S, Project Manager Def Cyber Ops Office of the Project Manager, Fort Belvoir, VA. Responsibilities Provide overall direction and guidance for the development and implementation of a comprehensive product support strategy for the materiel system throughout the system life cycle. Ensure appropriate predictive analysis and modeling tools are used to improve materiel availability and reliability, increase operational availability rates, and reduce operation and sustainment costs. Conduct appropriate cost analyses to validate the product support strategy. Direct and oversee materiel fielding planning and execution. Oversee cost estimating, planning, programming, budgeting, program integration, interoperability, product support integrators and product support providers, and oversight of the product support function. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Working with integrated logistics support center on transition to sustainment requirements; 2) Processing basis of issue plan feeder data to meet command authorizations for equipment; 3) Organizing congressional depot maintenance workload distribution reports for defensive cyber capabilities; and 4) Accounting for project manager owned equipment per Army regulations and defense property accountability system procedures to maintain inventory control. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/ level position in the federal service (NH-03/GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Acquisition Strategy Communications Planning and Evaluating Product Evaluation Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (NH-03/GS-13) Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter. This position requires a 3-year tenure agreement. Must sign DD form 2888 (Critical Acquisition Service Agreement) and execute, as a condition of employment, a written tenure agreement.
