Summary About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at Fort Meade, MD. Responsibilities Analyze and define logistics requirements essential to support the worldwide operations of USCYBERCOM Headquarters, subordinate command organizations, and the CMF. Provide logistical support for Expeditionary Cyber Support Element teams the Command deploys, often on short notice, to provide on-site technical support. Make recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes, tools, report formats and other program elements. Conduct logistical analyses to make plans to assure USCYBERCOM’s ability to maintain mission-critical command and control (C2) and cyber operations under emergency conditions. Develop and implement effective approaches to allocating and managing limited logistical resources for USCYBERCOM staff at emergency relocation sites. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1. coordinating with stakeholders to request financial resources to acquire product and services to support cyber organizational requirements; 2. providing logistical support for rapid movement of personnel globally; 3. coordinating the use of facilities designed to meet cyber security requirements; 4. developing strategic plans for the procurement of cyberspace equipment and services.
