About the Position: This is a temporary promotion NTE 1 year but may be extended to 3 years. Position is subject to a six-month rotational deployment to Southwest Asia. Responsibilities Work in concert with weapon system teams, and Project / Product Managers (PMs) and contractor personnel to plan, develop, or manage logistic sustainment activities across an area of responsibility. Provide input, analysis, and review to Logistic Support Plans to determine spares, maintenance concepts, levels, and training requirements. Monitor the contract to assure the proper utilization of government funds and bring any significant deficiencies to the attention of the Contracting Officer. Review CECOM-LCMC budget preparation and development and approves program cost estimates and budget submissions from logistics element managers and ILS managers.
