About the Position: Serve as a Regional and/or Crisis Planner and technical logistics expert for the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) and develops program policy, monitors operations, and manages contracted sustainment requirements for LOGCAP. Responsibilities Evaluate Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) operations consisting of different types of contracting capability to support deployed forces during contingency operations. Develop organizational information criteria to measure the effectiveness of Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) functions and capabilities. Provide technical and operational guidance on program status, problem areas, operations resources, and training requirements to improve programs. Review logistics readiness sustainment reports to resolve problem areas. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Identifying logistics requirements to perform qualitative analysis; 2) Evaluating program execution to identify ways to support deployed forces during contingency operations; 3) Conducting analysis on logistics support problems to enable sustainment readiness; and 4) Utilizing automated logistics readiness reporting systems to improve logistics and contractor performance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Manages and Organizes Information Organizational Performance Analysis Problem Solving Project Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
