Logistics Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and manage all Global Air and Sea Freight logistics activities for our production facilities. This role includes responsibilities such as establishing and overseeing third-party supply chain services, as well as working cross-functionally with the Production & Logistics team to ensure critical parts availability, shipment of products, third-party warehousing, and shipping/receiving activities, The Logistics Manager will develop and implement logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints and provide financial planning and reporting on logistics activities managed.
Responsibilities
• Oversee supply chain services.• Develop and implement logistics plans, budgets, and procedures.• Interact with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Product Development to optimize systems and procedures.• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function• Support import-export shipment of products.• Manage professionals or supervisors coordinating activities of a section/department.• Accountable for team performance and results, including costs, methods, and staffing.• Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.• Make decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business plans.• Exercise full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, and termination.• Address issues with impact beyond own team/group based on knowledge of related disciplines.
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree
+ At least 8 years of supply chain or manufacturing experience
+ 2 years management experience
OR
+ Master's degree
+ At least 6 years of supply chain or manufacturing experience
+ 2 years management experience
OR
+ At least 10 years of supply chain or manufacturing experience
+ 2 years management experience
Additional Requirements
+ Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
Desired Skills
• Thorough understanding of international Letters of Credit and other forms of banking documents and international shipments.• Strong financial acumen and experience with financial reporting and reconciliation.• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
