Logistics Operation Technician
**Summary** **AJANTA CONSULTING, LLC** Wright Patterson AFB, OH THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD The **Logistics Operation Technician** will provide division logistics operations support to oversee 37 biotechnology, sensors development and cognitive neuroscience laboratories (labs) across multiple buildings, branches, and sections within our organization. The division logistics operations support associates will be responsible for executing the day-to-day tracking of the equipment inventory inside the labs. The successful candidates will have excellent organizational and managerial skills, strong communication skills and be able to work well under pressure. **Responsibilities** + Support the Division Operations manager and the division lab manager while assisting in facilitating the management and oversight of the operations of 37 labs across multiple buildings, branches, and sections to ensure all labs operate efficiently, safely, and effectively + Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all laboratory operations and ensure overall compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards + Monitor lab equipment, inventory, and supplies, ensuring they are properly stocked and work with Hazardous Waste Managers to properly disposed of based on relevant chemical and biological hygiene regulations, i.e. 711 HPW Chemical Hygiene Plan. + Identify lab consumable replenishments and complete appropriate paperwork for the appropriate Government Purchase Card holder + Work with lab monitors and lab supervisors to ensure all laboratory equipment is maintained and serviced regularly + Assist the lab manager with any required equipment, supply, and logistics operation orientation of new lab personnel + Coordinate with the division lab manager, lab supervisors, and lab monitors, all laboratory activities as it pertains to equipment control and accountability within the Division + Track/maintain physical and electronic records of available equipment and maintaining visibility of equipment (i.e. hand receipt tracking or local form). + Manage the lab equipment using the knowledge of United States Air Force (USAF) and AFRL guidance regarding Logistics Material Control Activity (LMCA), Medical Equipment Management Office (MEMO). + Manage current equipment operational status (i.e. condition tags, Air Force Tech Order (AFTO) 244, Precision Measuring Equipment Laboratory (PMEL), and medical maintenance requirements). + Coordinate with service technicians to conduct/track maintenance of identified equipment. + Coordinate the purging/decontamination of equipment for turn-in. + Assist with annual reviews of entire equipment inventory + Assist with transferring equipment from contract to government ownership following 711 HPW/RHB purchasing policies + Submit work orders for equipment turn-in, transfer, and disposal. + Manage the Division’s Composite Took Kit (CTK) program + Manage the Division’s Test Measurement Diagnostic Evaluation (TMDE) program. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + Associate degree in a scientific field + Assoiciate Degree in chemistry or biology Preferred + Minimum two (2) years’ of experience managing equipment inventory and necessary administrative duties that correspond with the work. + Minimum two (2) years’ experience in relevant regulations and safety standards for biotechnology, sensors development and cognitive neuroscience laboratories Preferred + Possess an Active Secret Clearance **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Experience to as a logistics operations focal pointing + Possess strong organizational and managerial skills + Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrates the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities + Demonstrate an exceptionally high capacity for working autonomously and performing assigned tasks with minimal supervision + Experience interacting with the equivalent of Wing-level Logistics Managers + Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite + Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds **Physical Demands** (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
