Logistics Operations Associate II, RTS (M-F 12pm – 8:30pm)Logistics Operations Associate II are responsible for the execution of logistics occurring in one of Niagara’s designated geographic Supply Chain regions. This role is heavily focused on coordinating all logistics related activities that occur once a shipment is planned and scheduled to ship to/from customers or Niagara/3PL warehouses. The Regional Logistics Operations team supports logistics needs for both internal and external customers such as Niagara shipping offices/warehouse staff, Customer Service, Production/deployment planning, Sales and Carriers.Essential Functions
Daily communication/coordination with plants/3PLs related to the flow of shipments in/out of facilities including issue resolution and solutionsDock Schedule Appointment Management of all Niagara facilities in the regionExecution of RMAs end to end including claims being filed Trouble shooting system issues impacting orders that need to shipExperienced with WMS (E80, Manhattan, TMS (OTM) and EBSGeneral exception management and issue resolutionEscalation to leadership team when appropriateProvide overflow support to Execution Support team as neededCarrier Pick-Up Appointment changes and coordinationOrder/Shipment Source Location changes and coordinationTracking critically identified shipments with ability to provide truck status to customer service representatives in a timely mannerBuilding and maintaining relationships with key relevant parties for designated region:Niagara plant teams (including leaders i.e. Supervisors and DC managers)Core carriers that service the regionCustomer Service team membersProduction scheduler/ planning teamLogistics ProcurementCollaborating with cross functional supply chain team to resolve issues and provide logistics related solutionsWorking with Logistics Operations Supervisor to develop processes and standards for communication between all impacted parties and the execution teamReporting on regional team metricsWorking with Supervisor to maintain critical job relevant SOPsIdentifying and developing solutions for improvements in process and communication between departments Training and providing support for new employeesPlease note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
