Position: Logistics Operations Coordinator

\n

Shift: 2nd Shift: Monday –; Friday 3pm-11pm with OT on Saturday 3pm-11pm

\n

Pay: $19.50 per hour plus $0.75 Shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift, $1.50 Shift Differential for Weekend Shift

\n

Additional Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible to qualify monthly attendance bonuses.

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also have the following skills: strong computer skills to include MS Outlook & Excel familiarity, Outbound Dock Experience, Production, Warehouse, General Labor.

A minimum of 6 month’s experience in warehouse service is preferred but will train applicants.

Role Purpose:

Assist in coordinating truck, rail, and international shipments. Provide communication to both shippers and carriers. Assist in coordinating and providing problem-solving and order management for customers.

Key Accountabilities:

Assist in coordination of export/import shipments.Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments.Track and trace all shipments.Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s) – SAP.Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports.Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends.Proactively identify problems to management.Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed.Prepare client invoice packetsConfirm rates with carriers.

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred6 months – 1 year warehouse or logistics experience, preferredCommunication and customer service skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work as part of a team and individually
