Purpose of the Job

The Logistics Operations Leader will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmaceutical warehouse, ensuring the efficient and compliant management of inventory, order fulfillment, and logistics processes. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards in operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and safety, while driving continuous improvement and cost-effective solutions.

Job Description Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement. Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and other external partners. Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations. Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate logistics activities and improve processes. Implement best practices for inventory management and order fulfillment. Conduct regular audits of logistics processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Develop training programs for staff to enhance skills and operational knowledge. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address client needs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and reduce costs. Prepare and manage logistics budgets, ensuring cost efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in logistics technology. Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization. Oversee the management of warehouse operations and inventory control. Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed. Prepare reports on logistics performance for senior management review. Foster a culture of safety and compliance within logistics operations. Develop contingency plans to manage disruptions in the supply chain. Lead corporate sustainability initiatives related to logistics and transportation. Oversee daily logistics operations to ensure efficient supply chain management. Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize operational performance. Job Responsibilities - Experience and Education Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, or related field (preferred). Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and warehouse best practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in warehouse management software and other logistics tools. Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to drive process improvements. Knowledge of automation and technology trends in warehouse and logistics operations.
