We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Logistics Operations Manager (2nd Shift) in Morton IL.
The Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream from procurement to design and manufacturing to distribution. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics, segment Procurement and the design and manufacture of Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET) and Maintenance Components (Seals, Tubes & Hardware, Hose & Couplings, Fluids and Filters).

Job Summary
This Logistics Operations Manager (2nd Shift) role manages the day-to-day outbound operations of 2nd shift of a large distribution facility.Additional Info:
This role is based in Morton, IL and does not offer relocationThis role is 2nd shift: Monday-Friday 3pm-11pmThis role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedulesWhat You Will Do:
Managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; managing, motivating, and developing management team.Overseeing operations activities, ensuring that safety, and schedules and performance requirements are met and system resources are used effectively.Driving improvements for overall operations performance and implementing safety, cost, and quality control mechanisms.Inspires continuous improvement of logistics processes through process improvement, prioritization, and project planning.What You Have (Required Skills):

$108,360.00 - $162,480.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
