We’re looking for a Logistics Operations Manager who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with an in-depth understanding of a specific. area. Independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the role. 

 

What are we looking for? 

Minimum

Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Logistics or Supply Chain1-2 years of logistics Project Administration and/orOperational Customer Service Experience within Transportation or Logistics IndustryAbility to run Business Intelligence reporting

 

Preferred

Transportation industry knowledge, including key terminology; and general knowledge of primary customer industriesDemonstrated customer service mindsetKnowledge of Microsoft Tools

 

What will be your key responsibilities? 

Customer Relationship Consistent and professional communications; effective, prompt, and courteous communications with respect to difficult situations, relaying service failures, etc.Project related cost reduction: participate in committees aimed at identifying and executing approved cost reduction initiatives.Perform data collection analysis, benchmark rate achievement, expedite decisions and cost, etc.Automate reporting to include automation objectives, i.e., Power BI, SharePoint, internal dashboards, etc.Perform routine system analysis and resolution to ensure adherence to current system standards.Main POC for all system related issues and resolutions.Financial Procedures and Operating Metrics Monthly/Quarterly KPI calculation and release to customer using ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and scorecardsManage the Logistics Specialists to ensure day to day operations goals are achieved
