For our Production Logistics and Dispatch team, we are seeking a Intralogistics Process Engineer who is dynamic, motivated, and team oriented individual whose role would be to manage process implementation and continuous improvement of processes in line with the global blueprint and regional strategy! To drive the performance of the office and logistics operation through process improvements, gap analysis and acting on direct feedback within manufacturing process. This function has been established to define & execute process improvement initiatives with a cross-functional impact aiming at achieving lean and efficient organizational processes which will lead a competitive advantage to Siemens Air Insulated Switchgear Community.
What part will you play?
• Process Analysis: Evaluate current logistics processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.• Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data analytics and modeling tools to analyze logistics operations, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels.• Process Design and Optimization: Develop and implement new processes or redesign existing ones to streamline logistics operations, reduce lead times, and improve customer satisfaction.• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the supply chain, warehousing, procurement, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics processes across the organization.• Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.• Technology Integration: Identify and implement new technologies, such as automation and advanced software solutions, to improve logistics efficiency.• Training and Development: Provide training and support to staff on new processes and technologies to ensure successful adoption and sustainability.
