Logistics Procurement Manager

This take-charge individual will lead procurement strategy and activities within the Logistics Procurement category and subcategories, specifically Truckload, Intermodal, Bulk and Rail. The strong performer will be recognized as a procurement strategy expert and will collaborate with cross functional teams including global logistics, North America (domestic) logistics, key suppliers, and industry experts to understand current trends for continual innovation and process improvement.  This leadership role will also have a minimum of one direct report who supports the strategy and implementation of procurement activities across the logistics procurement function.

What You Will Do:

Develops, leads and executes category plan focused on short and long term goal achievement, leveraging internal and external considerationsIdentifies, develops, and implements global and regional sourcing strategies to maximize value,  reducing total delivered cost, mitigating headwinds and improving security of supply  Provides leadership, coaching and feedback on the logistics sourcing process to build capability and mature practices across the teamEffectively communicates strategies, results, and metrics to leadership teams as required Develops contract strategies and effectively negotiates with key suppliers for the benefit of Ecolab and in line with business requirements and goalsStays abreast of industry trends for assigned categories; provides guidance and recommendations to business units to support cost, capacity, service and sustainability objectivesEffectively implements strategic supplier strategies and initiatives to achieve maximum valueDevelops and drives strategic projects to improve procurement processes, tools, and efficienciesCollaborates with analytics and reporting teams to create and optimize internal procurement reportingLeads, coaches, and develops direct reports and/or cross functional teams to ensure strong performance and build high performing teamsInterviews, identifies, and recommends strong talent for the organization


Minimum Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field5 years of experience in procurement, logistics or supply chainImmigration Sponsorship is not offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:  

Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related fieldExperience in Logistics ProcurementDemonstrated history of leadership, teamwork, and project management skillsDemonstrated competitive drive and strong orientation for results and achievementDemonstrated skills in clear communication and presentationDemonstrated professionalism and strong presence in interactions with others

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $104,700.00 - $157,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
