Logistics/Property Specialist

Nightwing is seeking a Logistics/Property Specialist to perform a wide variety of tasks related to incoming and outgoing Nightwing and Government material/equipment. The Logistics/Property Specialist will interact with customer and company property/logistics representatives as well as freight carriers and Government personnel. Primary duties include receiving, shipping, and maintaining inventory records for Nightwing and Government assets. + Receive, verify/inspect, record creation, and storage of incoming material/equipment. + Packaging and shipping services of material/equipment to include tracking of shipments. + Conduct annual physical inventory activities by assisting in resolving discrepancies and reporting metrics. + Participate in internal and external audits and assist in the resolution of nonconformance to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. + Assist with project/program closeout to include final disposition of property. Required Skills: + Basic knowledge of Inventory Management/Warehouse Management system transactions. + Strong self-starter with ability to work independently on multiple assignments. + Ability to be flexible with shifting priorities and display effective time management skills. + Must be detail oriented to record and maintain inventory asset transactions accurately with high quality and rapid execution. + Must be a team player who is comfortable operating in a high energy and often deadline driven environment who is results focused, ensuring critical due dates and milestones are met. + Must have the ability to effectively listen to and communicate with customers and teammates. + Must have effective computer skills – to include Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. + Able and willing to operate powered equipment to transport material/equipment; forklift certification. + Able and willing to obtain certification in DOT Hazmat / IATA Dangerous Goods Training + Able and willing to comply with Nightwing Non-Commercial & DOT Driving Programs + Able and willing to lift up to 94 lbs. + Able and willing to do minimal travel as needed. + Must be US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. Desired Skills: + Practical understanding of Government/Customer Property Management as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). + Certified through the National Property Management Association (NPMA) or equivalent. + 4 years of related experience Required Education: + Bachelor's degree.
