Logistics Representative

The Logistics Representative is responsible for managing customer’s supply chain information and data within C.H. Robinson’s Transportation Management System. They act as an extension of the customer’s staff to ensure that all information flows properly and efficiently to ensure all transportation arrangements are made. The Logistics Representative is accountable for independently managing their own area of responsibility, fostering, and maintaining a relationship with their assigned customer(s), and utilizing the CHR project-based delivery model to improve any internal or external processes.

Responsibilities:Ensure Transportation arrangements are made for shipments by the following:Monitor customer load board and information flow in the Transportation Management SystemMaintain any team mailboxesPerform relationship and knowledge-based exception management to any pre-defined processesDocument and organize existing standard operating processesLearn multiple job functions within assigned teamFacilitate customer calls and updates, identify when an outgoing call is needed to offer proactive answersMeet operational metricsConduct CHR systems trainings to external CHR customer representativesManage reconciliation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reportsMake fact-based suggestions on how customers can achieve their goals in utilizing CHR by understanding CHR’s value propositionAct as a resource and support for peers when neededUnderstand and utilize CHR’s project-based delivery model to find process improvements and cost savings within area of responsibility and/or teamOther duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or universityMinimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or LogisticsAbility to work flexible schedule on occasionAbility to travel up to 5% (domestic and/or international)Site Specific:  Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
