Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Position Overview:
The Logistics Specialist manages customer accounts from shipment initiation to invoicing. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to foresee potential challenges, and the implementation of strategic solutions to maintain seamless operations. The ideal candidate will enhance supply chain efficiency, boost reliability, and implement cost-saving measures in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule outbound and inbound LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) and TL (Truckload) shipments.Communicate shipment updates to customers and promptly address any modifications or issues.Troubleshoot and resolve transportation delays or disruptions.Prepare and distribute essential shipping documents, including BOLs, labels, and required paperwork.Manage LTL freight claims and track resolution progress.Analyze and review invoice discrepancies, making necessary approvals or rejections before submission.Maintain logistics databases, generating reports and insights for process improvement.Apply analytical tools to optimize logistics operations and performance.Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop strategic solutions.Perform additional duties as needed to support logistics functions.Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field required.At least three years of experience in transportation and logistics preferred.Strong background in LTL operations highly desirable.Decision-Making Responsibilities:
Determine the most effective utilization of resources to meet customer needs.Identify optimal solutions for critical challenges and operational risks.Select the best communication methods to relay essential logistics information.Lead analytical projects focused on cost-saving initiatives.Resolve TMS and ERP system integration issues.Work Schedule & Expectations:
Full-time position, Monday through Friday. Standard hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.No travel is required for this position.Eligibility Requirements:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Key Skills & Competencies:
