Logistics & Freight Specialist

 

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Microsoft Office skills required; must be proficient in Excel.  Previous experience with SAP and Salesforce preferred. Customer Service ability – skills 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Freight or similar role is required. In-depth knowledge of freight management principles, transportation modes, and logistics best practices. Familiarity with ocean and inland transportation operations, including container shipping, port operations, and customs clearance processes. Proven experience in transportation and logistics management, preferably in the food and service industry. Strong understanding of international importation laws, regulations, and trade compliance requirements. Ability to prioritize multiple demanding tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities.
