Overview:\n
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) provides comprehensive and dedicated support to the Navy of research, development, test and evaluation, analysis, systems engineering, integration and certification of complex naval warfare systems and fleet support. Additional support for professional and operational support services is required as NSWCDD continues to provide the military with testing and certification by utilizing its Potomac River Test Range in Dahlgren, VA and provides fleet support at NSWCDD Dam Neck which is located in Virginia Beach, VA.\n

Job Summary:\n
Provide professional and operational support of day-to-day operations at NSWCDD through performing cost estimating, maintaining and tracking inventory and equipment and physical audits of inventory.\n

Education and Experience:\n\nThree (3) years of related experience which shall include cost estimating, maintain and track inventory and equipment and physical audits of inventory\nA minimum of two (2) years of experience screening material requirements in various databases, including Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), Haystack, Navy Logistics Library (NLL), One Touch and Navy ERP\n\n

Essential Duties: \n\nTag and record Plant and Minor Property Equipment in Navy ERP while wearing appropriate personnel protective equipment, as required\nAssist technical departments by answering questions or concerns relating to General Equipment and Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S)\nConduct physical inventories of General Equipment, and OM&S\nMaintain and reconcile property records for land, buildings, and plant equipment\nMaintain general equipment receipt and transfer request files\nScan and upload general equipment key supporting documents to Navy ERP\nConduct inventory of containers, including container condition, name plate verification and validation\nAssist technical users with the proper packing of the container by adhering to Defense Transportation Regulations\nReconcile and validate shipping manifests against the actual contents of the container and report their findings to the Container Control Officer\nMatch end user material requests to various databases (technical screening). Various databases include Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), Haystack, Navy Logistics Library (NLL), One Touch, and Navy ERP\nRequest creation or extension of Material Master Records from the NAVSEA ERP Business Office (NEBO) if no match is found in Navy ERP\nProvide support in creating and submitting Purchase Requests (PRs) within ERP\n\n

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:\n\nMust possess transactional knowledge and experience with the Navy ERP Asset Management Module\nPossess experience with creating Material Master records in Navy ERP\n\n
