SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the Logistics Specialist proactively supports operations and customer support activities in their assigned area(s). Identifies critical items before they impact the completion of production and maintenance schedules. Provides customer support to various areas within the Supply Chain group.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Storeroom clerk:
+ Moves and transports product using forklift.
+ Performs daily Picklist-Pull Inventory and stages for production.
+ Issues kits, parts and tools from counter or to production floor.
+ Builds kits or consolidating parts for production.
+ Performs daily transfers of parts from internal job to job for the shop support.
+ Pulls in-house requisitions to fill demand from production.
+ Restocks of pre-pick bins on the production floor as required.
+ Retrieves off-units from production, inspects, and routes to the Warehouse.
+ Retrieves and processes incoming Outside Service parts, Work Order and paperwork.
+ Returns parts and tools at counter and reshelves.
+ Runs ERP In-Transit report and verifies items have been issued.
+ Fills out HAZMAT paperwork for items being transported to other on-site locations.
+ Performs daily inventory cycle counts for accuracy.
+ Maintains customer requirements in inventory accuracy and parts segregation.
+ Performs inspection of flammable cabinets and partial racks for expired shelf-life items.
+ Runs and processes Expired Materials report.
+ Performs stores and warehouse internal inspections in preparation for live audits.
+ Puts away recapped BFG parts and material.
+ Puts away BFG New Receipt inventory.
+ Transfers and puts away stock from receiving.
+ Pulls RMA return requests for shipping to supplier.
+ Performs harness inspections and processes requests for production as required.
+ Monitor Email requests from Internal production and support departments.
+ Responds to daily questions from production about parts, tooling and chemicals.
+ Maintains up-to-date training in ATS Plateau platform.
Operation Support Representative:
+ Issues kits, parts and tools to maintenance and shop floor.
+ Performs daily transfers of parts from internal job to job for maintenance support.
+ Submits and communicates in-house requisitions to fill demand from maintenance.
+ Processes recapped CFE and BFG parts and material, and routes to appropriate location.
+ Processes off-units from maintenance, inspects, and routes to the Warehouse.
+ Retrieves and processes incoming Outside Service parts, Work Order and paperwork.
+ Returns parts and tools as needed.
+ Performs transactions in customer ERP to issue, return, or change assignment of customer parts.
+ Verifies items have been issued to or returned from Jobs through RECAP process.
+ Attends daily Maintenance Line meetings and answers questions regarding material.
+ Meets with onsite customer representatives and communicates open demand requirements.
+ Tracks and provides daily material status of incoming parts.
+ Updates Gateway material reports.
+ Researches and communicates purchasing request kickbacks with Maintenance.
+ Communicates with Engineering Liaison to provide status of parts to Maintenance.
+ Transports critically hot parts from other on-site locations as requested by Maintenance.
+ Monitors email requests from Maintenance and support departments.
+ Responds to daily questions from Maintenance about parts, tooling and chemicals.
+ Maintains up-to-date training in ATS Plateau platform.
Warehouse Hangar Part Department (HPD) Clerk:
+ Moves and transports product using forklift.
+ Pulls in-house requisitions to fill demand from production.
+ Delivers Heavy Distribution products as needed to support operations.
+ Performs daily Picklist-Pull inventory and stages for production.
+ Builds kits or consolidates parts for production.
+ Runs ERP In-Transit report & verifies items have been issued.
+ Performs daily inventory cycle counts for accuracy.
+ Maintains customer requirements in inventory accuracy and parts segregation.
+ Fills out HAZMAT paperwork for items being transported to other on-site locations.
+ Performs stores and warehouse internal inspections in preparation for live audits.
+ Transfers and put away stock from receiving.
+ Puts away recapped CFE parts and material into CFE-ERP.
+ Maintains accountability of stock for various CFE inventory.
+ Drives to local supplier sites to retrieve inventory.
+ Transports inventory by AOG vehicle every 2 hours to other buildings as location requires.
+ Transports inventory by AOG vehicle as required by immediate request from production.
+ Travels to other local ATS buildings to put sheet stock away or unload large items.
+ Unloads supplier trucks as needed to assist Receiving.
+ Pulls RMA return requests for shipping to supplier.
+ Updates off-units in Oracle.
+ Works with customers on disposition of off-units and stock.
+ Monitors email requests from internal production and support departments.
+ Maintains up to date training in ATS Plateau platform.
Warehouse Shipping Clerk
+ Moves and transports product using forklift.
+ Fills out HAZMAT paperwork for items being transported to other on-site locations.
+ Performs stores and warehouse internal inspections in preparation for live audits.
+ Assists Shipping with preparation of shipments, including packing, boxing and crating.
+ Drives to local supplier sites to retrieve inventory.
+ Prepares shipments for Alt Solutions.
+ Prepares Outside Service shipments.
+ Maintains order for crates and provides dimensions and weights to supplier.
+ Monitors email requests from internal production and support departments.
+ Responds to daily questions from production about parts, tooling, and chemicals.
+ Relays shipping information to Account Service Reps and customers as needed.
+ Maintains up-to-date training in ATS Plateau platform.
Tooling & Calibration Clerk:
+ Moves and transports product using forklift.
+ Issues kits, parts, and tools from counter or to production floor.
+ Pulls in-house requisitions to fill demand from production.
+ Returns parts and tools at counter and reshelves.
+ Builds tooling kits or consolidates parts for production.
+ Performs stores and warehouse internal inspections in preparation for live audits.
+ Removes overdue tooling and disposition for calibration.
+ Repairs in-house small mechanical tools.
+ Completes necessary paperwork, including customer computer entries and tag reviews, to correctly account for tooling going out for repair.
+ Performs upkeep of tooling stickers, decals and OEM revision changes.
+ Monitors email requests from internal production and support departments.
+ Responds to daily questions from production about parts, tooling, and chemicals.
+ Maintains up-to-date training in ATS Plateau platform.
OTHER DUTIES:
+ May operate light passenger vehicles, vans, pickup trucks, etc. to transport passengers, materials, or equipment in an industrial area, either inside or outside the local area.
+ Assists with special projects as assigned.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.

AUTHORITY:
This position is prohibited from performing any safety sensitive functions to include the accomplishment or direct supervision of the following:
+ Aircraft maintenance – This includes inspection, overhaul, repair, preservation, and the replacement of parts.
+ Aircraft preventive maintenance – This includes simple or minor preservation operations and the replacement of small standard parts.
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY:
Duties shall include observing all company, health, safety and environmental rules, ensure provision of full information on area specific safety orientation, identify all unique hazards, and are provided with the proper equipment to carry out the job in a safe manner. Also, the entire work area must be routinely inspected to maintain a high standard of housekeeping and low incidence of physical hazards and all accidents must be promptly reported.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
+ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
+ Ability to read, comprehend and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to operate general office equipment including personal computer, fax, and copy machine.
+ General knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
+ Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
+ Ability to solve practical problems.
+ Good customer service skills.
+ Ability to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
+ Ability to use sheet metal shear, band saws, skill saws, hot knives, vises, and other common tools to create tooling containers and shipping crates.
+ Ability to use forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other various material handling equipment to move, stage, and deliver parts, tools, and raw stock materials.
+ Knowledge of shipping systems including FEDEX, UPS and LYNDEN.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Minimum of one (1) year of inventory handling and control or warehouse operation experience required, including operation of trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
+ Forklift certification required (must obtain certification within 60 days of hire).
+ 49CFR and IATA dangerous goods training (compliant to ATS requirements within 30 days of hire).
+ Valid state driver’s license required for the areas of Operation Support Representative, Warehouse HPD Clerk, Warehouse Shipping Clerk and Tooling & Calibration Clerk.
PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate to high. May occasionally work near moving mechanical parts in high, precarious places and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May work outside in various types of weather.
Compensation
The full base pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00 (hourly for non-exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. The lower end of the range represents the target base pay for those beginning or developing in the role. The higher end of the range is intended for those who have mastered the role, with proven significant expertise, high achievement, and specialized skills. If you are hired at ATS, your hourly rate will be based on factors including skills, education and experience. In addition to those factors – we consider internal equity of our current employees when determining offers. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. We also offer a generous benefits package, as detailed below.
