Our client, a packaging industry, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join their team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will work very closely with the CM staff in managing and maintaining inventory at collaborative manufacturers and re-packers in North America.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be an innovative thinker, result oriented, positive attitude and who is eager to learn new things will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Logistics Specialist**
**Fully Remote (Prefer candidates from NJ OR NY)**
**Pay rate: $18 to $23 p/h w-2 depending upon experience**
**What’s the Job?**
+ Responsible for SAP ERP system entries consisting of inventory transactions, adjustments, reporting of production/shipments and resolving invoices.
+ The Logistics Specialist will also be the first point of contact for the CM Staff.
+ Being a dot connector: Identifying patterns and processes and communicating them clearly to stakeholders.
+ Bringing creativity and perseverance to the table, always finding a way to make things work.
+ Influencing others to adopt and adapt while supporting inventory adjustment loss tree and improvement.
+ Navigating different situations with a positive attitude and pushing things forward effectively.
**What’s Needed?**
+ SAP experience is highly desirable.
+ MUST be bilingual- Speaking Spanish and English.
+ A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
+ At least 2 years of experience in Logistics, Planning, or Manufacturing Operations.
+ Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to manage numerous priorities concurrently in a challenging business environment.
+ Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel.
