Danfoss is looking for a Logistics Specialist.
Job Responsibilities Logistics Specialist - CMO (Contract Manufacturing) will be the one point of contact of designated Sub-Contract Manufacturer of Danfoss. Build relationship and network within Sub-Contractor organization to have smooth operations & long-term business continuity. Responsible for managing the Material Availability, Logistics Flow & Routing, Stock decisions and interact with relevant Danfoss Global functions - Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Finance, etc. Manage the planning and Inbound material flow into the sub-contractor to facilitate production of Danfoss Finished goods. Manage Danfoss component stocking decision at strategic locations based upon FG forecast, production plan at contract manufacturer and consider the safety stocks replenishment and lead time demand. Coordinate with internal supply chain departments, factories, and MRP controllers, procurement team, and external vendors to secure required components for Sub-Contractor manufacturing process. Coordinate with Global Logistics team for smooth logistics operations (Inbound/Outbound), optimize lead times, and manage logistics costs throughout the logistics network of the segment. Participate in NPD/EPD Projects and drive the supply chain agenda within the project team. Drive SCM related projects to improve service levels & optimize costs. Participate in strategic BU projects related to product management, marketing strategies, and manufacturing footprints. Analyse the demand-supply trends and highlight any opportunities or risks to the management team. Inventory management tasks related to Safety stock review, replenishment methods, and slow mover management. Coordinate allocation management among regions during unexpected demand increase or constraints in the supply chain. Publish periodic dashboards and report cards on various performance indicators related to supply planning and inventory management. Background & Skills Degree in Commerce/Business Administration with 8-10 years of experience in Supply Chain planning and inventory management experience in industrial background. Adapt to matrix structure and coordinate with various function and people globally across different time zones with different cultural background and be open to work in different time zones to support the business. Ability to understand the wholistic picture – Business segments, product & marketing strategies, importance of supply chain as a success criterion for business unit. Ability to work on large and complex data sets, analyse and interpreted data for supply chain decision making. Excellent English skills and able to communicate across all levels of organization. Proficient knowledge on MS Office, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP APO, SAB BI Benchmark industry best practices and drive continuous improvement on supply chain processes.
