The LS interacts with internal and external customers to provide information in response to enquiries, products, loan sets and complaints to ensure that good customer relations are maintained in accordance with Acumed procedures.
Lead by the Logistics Manager the Logistics Specialist role will be to support and drive all incoming and outgoing goods of the business. A crucial role within the organisation to ensure SLA expectations are met for our stakeholders.Collaborate and work as part of the logistics team to ensure smooth running of the logistics department.Move between job duties as required by the business to ensure accurate and timely completion of all logistics related dutiesEnsure understanding and adherence to all department/business relevant SOPs at all times.Check daily outgoing loans calendar and ensure required sets are ready for dispatchHighlight any priority sets as indicated by business services and ensure they are prioritised accordinglyPick, pack and label of outgoing loaners, checking for short dated stockPick, pack and label of outgoing stock for UK and international customers including backorders, creating commercial invoices and organizing couriers when required Receive, inspect and shelve incoming stock. Collect all packing slips & deliver to Finance for loading Ensure overstocks are in the correct location & top up shelves when required

Perform quick check on all incoming sets and add to the Loan Kit Board and stamp the loan paperwork with a date stamp.
Inspect incoming loan, follow the process to replenish and dispose used items ready for the second check
Inspect process and dispose of returned products, sign off 1st check (2nd check) after 6 months services in department and sign off by Logistics Manager.Open any consignment returns/short dated parcels and log on the Business Services log. Execute compliance narrative in Activ and maintain accurate IL recordsUtilise stock from the 'Off Stock' trolley where possibleOrganise & keep the warehouse tidy, working with the Logistics Manager should workflow need attentionPerform cycle counts, validate with Finance and process adjustment. Inspect, process and dispose of returned products sign off first check (2nd check). Process Off Stock & FOC returnsAssist with training of new staffOffer feedback and constructive input where lean opportunities may be present.Take ownership and control of development. Highlight and discuss opportunities and development objectives with your line manager. Work towards objectives quarterly/annually to drive personal & professional developmentFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
