**Job Title: Logistics Specialist** **Job Description** The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the planning and operational execution of efficient domestic and international shipments, including route and transport mode selection, freight forwarder/carrier selection, and compliant customs clearance. **Responsibilities** + Develop logistics plans for efficient and cost-effective movement of goods via sea, road, and/or air. + Request and analyze logistics quotes to identify savings and/or best transport options. + Create or approve required documentation for domestic and international shipments. + Interact with suppliers and freight forwarders/carriers to resolve delivery issues. + Review and approve logistics-related invoices. **Essential Skills** + Experience in logistics within warehouse/manufacturing settings. + High computer literacy (SAP/ERP, Microsoft Office). + Strong communication skills (emails, phone, verbal). + Knowledge of logistics/production procedures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Compliance knowledge with customer specifications. + High attention to detail. + Experience working with regulated products under certain protocols. + Customer service experience. + Production management skills. + Warehouse inventory management. + Audit, shipping, and receiving experience. + High School Diploma. + Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. + Strong attention to detail. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. + Ability to work in a team environment. + Proven ability to multi-task with good organizational and prioritization skills. + Ability to effectively manage competing priorities. **Why Work Here?** This role offers a 6-month temp-to-hire opportunity, with standard weekday hours (8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday) and no weekend work. Additionally, merit bonuses and raises are provided bi-annually. **Work Environment** This position involves working in both office and manufacturing settings, with a 70/30 split favoring office work. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
