Job Description Responsibilities + + Lead and coordinate 5 team members that will be responsible of shop floor logistics operations, setting goals and yearly performance. + Support the warehouse and distribution process setting up controls across storage facilities with logistics vendors and perform services according to FEFO and company policies. + Follow-up of suppliers’ contracts, service deliverables and financial control over the monthly spend. + Collaborate to lead and assure the Value-Added Services schedule with the 3PL, guaranteeing product availability for government deliveries and special trade presentations. + Work with logistics vendors (3PL’s) to prioritize orders and plan accordingly to comply with the contract commitments and ensure all orders are delivered On Time in Full. + Participate and lead specific regional initiatives (LATAM) according to AbbVie operations strategic pillars. + Support logistics strategies to maximize resources, looking for efficiencies while delivering operational improvements reflected in savings to achieve a best-in-class supply chain service. + Coordinate efforts with different stakeholders like GTC, Supply, Customer Service, Market Access, Supply security, Quality, Commercial, and FP&A to assure the business continuity thru the current sales and distribution model for government with a consistent process and guarantee no operational disruption. + Assure alignment and compliance with all internal procedures and policies (Finance, Compliance, Quality, Supply Security) in the corresponding areas of responsibility. + Support the implementation of new logistics KPIs and ensure monthly reporting requirements are met. + Guarantee the availability of logistics supplies like passive shippers and maintain a healthy replenishment frequency to ship cold chain and CRT products. + Coordinate 3PL teams to pursue logistics controls for all shipments, inventory management and orders follow up to guarantee complete documentation and labeling services according to the Institutions requirements. + Coordinate and execute transportation strategy along routing planning process monitoring deliveries with the logistics vendors. + Maintain operational follow up to CAPA plans and service improvement projects. + Guarantee the recovery of all the PODs across the country in a timely manner, coordinate the delivery of those to Credit & Collection and reconcile with the Finance team to ensure revenue recognition + Lead 3PL and transportation vendors monthly performance reviews to achieve established SLAs, KPIs, assessments and improvements of the operation. + Partner with 3PL to find ways to improve Warehousing and Distribution processes to improve service levels to internal and external customers. + + Perform activities in line with global and local financial policies, review on regular basis; inbound deliveries, outbound deliveries (returned goods), inventory by product and resolve discrepancies and returns. + Control and understand all Logistics systems (parameters, costs, restrictions, routings) and optimization tools. + Lead, coordinate and deliver gross margin improvement and saving projects that allow Abbvie to reduce overall logistics expense. + Support management on RFP processes and capabilities requirements for the government operation and network integration. Qualifications Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications Systems + Proficiency using PC-based applications (such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word) + SAP WM or common warehouse management system (WMS) + Intermediate to Advanced Excel Business Knowledge + Business Process, Corporate Policy (compliance & completeness) + Analytical thinking and cost analysis + Pharmaceutical/Healthcare supply chain experience (required) + Cold chain product management preferred + Experience with Government operation + Process improvement skills + Partnership collaboration + Supply chain expertise Technical Knowledge + Strong Warehousing and Distribution capabilities + Accounting Fundamentals + Continuous Improvement /Lean manufacturing fundamentals + Analytical and conceptual skills around data management. + Data gathering and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs. + Strong attention to detail Qualifications + Location – Toluca or CDMX + Bachelor's degree + 3-4 years of Logistics/Warehousing experience (or similar) + Leading teams (responsible for 3 resources) + Proficient in English: advance + Customer focus + End to End Supply Chain Mentality + Finance knowledge + Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, customer service and interpersonal skills + Individual must be self-motivated with great follow-up skills and be able to work independently.
